Linking to other work programmes
The Achieving age equality report concluded that ending age discrimination will be achieved through a better understanding of age within existing work programmes, rather than a set of new policies. It recommended what needed to be done nationally to establish these links. This national work needs to be complemented by local activity to make or renew existing links with key work programmes that will impact on and be influenced by this audit.
